Insulated Glass

Insulated Glass

EP's IGU is called Insulated Glass Unit. Insulated glass is made by fusing together 2 panes of glass with the middle part separated by the hollow Aluminium spacer which is filled with the drier. The middle hollow part is filled with dry air, argon or other inert gases and sealed by butyl glue, sulfur glue or structural sealant.

Features

Its excellent efficiency in solar heat insulation greatly reduces cooling loads. The dry air inside the enclosure renders the surface free from misting. More excellent efficiency will be if fill in argon or other inert gases.
